Kelbourne Woolens Year of Hats Kits 2026

January 2026 - the first design is the Callisto Hat by Tommy Knits. This hat features a provisional tubular cast on, beautiful XO cables, and intricate crown decreases. A pom pom tops it all off and a custom KW tag completes the look.

February 2026 - February's design is Umbriel by Courtney Kelley. The astute among you may recognize it as a finer weight version of her very popular Wister Hat from our Year of Bulky Hats! Umbriel begins with a classic long tail cast on, a simple spiral slip stitch pattern is worked for the body, and integrated decreases shape the crown. As will our other hats, a pom pom tops it all off and a custom KW tag completes the look.

March 2026 - March's design is Juliet by Chinua “Chin” Matthews. This lovely beret is worked from the top down in an intricate cable and lace pattern. Integrated increases form the shape, and a slipped stitch folded ribbing provides structure at the brim. Fully charted, the cables and lace are not too difficult and keep the project engaging!
