Stranded Colorwork Exploration

Have you been wanting to try stranded colorwork? If so, this class is for you. We will use the Jamie Lomax snowflake doodle cup cozy pattern to learn the many options for holding and managing the yarn, color dominance in the motif, catching the floats, and other tips and tricks to knitting stranded color. To practice and master the skills we will be knitting a cup cozy designed by Jamie Lomax using one of her doodle motifs. Experienced stranded knitters can come too and join in on the fun!

You Supply: scraps of DK weight yarn in three colors (approximately 30 - 40 yards each), size US5 double point needles or circular needle for magic loop, tapestry needle, scissors, and stitch markers.

We Supply: The printed and digital Holiday Doodle Cup Cozy pattern by Jamie Lomax (you can get a jump on those holiday gifts for the year!)
