In this intro course, we’ll cover the basics of color magic while creating a personal connection to 5 featured colors: Red, Yellow, Blue, White & Black. Katie will provide guidance and fun examples along the way!

At the end of this course, you’ll learn: What color magic is, Why intent is key, How to apply color magic to any pattern

Included with the course is a printed copy of my Moon Shawl pattern which will be used as an example for combining multiple colors. A printed course workbook is also included for students to record their color reflections.

Time will be reserved at the end for Katie to help students shop for yarn for any pattern they may want to cast on with their new skills!

Required Materials: 

• US 6 needle

• Scraps of fingering weight yarn in any shade of the following colors: Red, yellow, blue, white and black (natural and dark gray are fine alternatives), Solid, tonal, heather, & tweed colors will work best for this course.

• An open mind

• No prior magical experience or knowledge required!
