Tunisian in the Round - The Chic Sheep Cowl
Tunisian crochet adds so many more stitch possibilities to your crocheting repertoire. And knowing how to do it in the round opens up even more project possibilities. So come learn this technique while crocheting the Chic Sheep Cowl. We will be using a double ended crochet hook to execute our forward pass with one color of yarn and the other end of the hook to execute our return pass with a second color of yarn. The Chic Sheep Cowl alternates between the simple stitch and the purl stitch. The cowl can be worn with either side out as both are stunning and unique. After completing this project, you will be able to go on to other garments and accessories that require Tunisian crochet in the round.
Materials Needed: size H double ended crochet hook, 150-200 yards of DK weight yarn for background color, 150-200 yards of DK weight yarn for foreground color (This could be all one color or a combination of colors. I used 4 mini skeins of Rainier Roses in a gradient of greens.), crochet stitch markers, scissors, measuring tape, and tapestry needle.
