Double Knit Coasters

Double knitting lets you knit two layers of fabric at once and make double-thick and completely reversible patterns. It can be used for scarves, hats, potholders, shawls and more. We’ll make double-knit coasters with a cute coffee cup pattern. It’s an easy way to learn the technique with a small (and giftable!) project. You’ll get lots of hands-on help during class and detailed written instructions plus a list of resources and patterns to take home. Materials:

Please bring US6 knitting needles, 10g each of two colors of worsted weight yarn (we highly recommend Deluxe Worsted).

Pre-req: Must know how to knit, purl, bind off and cast on.
