Do you have a project (or two) that you are stuck on? Do you just need a little guidance to get started on that sweater you have always wanted to knit? Do you have questions that pop up while you are crocheting? Stitching Circle is for you! Our expert, Sandy will bring her many years of yarn crafting knowledge, you bring the project/questions. This is a great time for you to work and then as something pops up, you can get hands-on help and advice! Sessions are $10 each, sign up is not necessary (drop in is great) however, space is limited! We will NOT have Drop in help from August 15th to Sept 5th to allow for a summer vacation! We will resume Drop in help sessions on Thursday, September 12th!

What could be more fun than knitting a pair of socks with yarn you dyed yourself?! In this class, we?ll explore the basic concepts of dyeing yarn and learn how to use a warping board to create self-striping sock yarn. You will need to purchase a skein of ?naked? yarn which we have available in the shop (there is a discount on the yarn if you are buying it for the class!) Although it is not the messiest process, you might not want to wear your Sunday best! GREAT class for friends to get together and have some fun!

Entrelac knitting creates a unique and intriguing woven-look fabric, and it?s rather fun and easy to do! The art of entrelac knitting requires just a few special skills: picking up stitches, increasing, decreasing, and working short rows, all of which we?ll learn as we knit a stunning entrelac scarf. We?ll also have a chance to practice ?knitting back backwards? ? a skill that makes entrelac knitting easier to do and will have your friends thinking you?re a knitting genius! Prerequisite: you should know how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off.

We are so thrilled to bring back the Flax Sweater-A-Long This isn't so much a class, but a gathering to work on the Flax Sweater together and help out at any point that you need help! This is great for someone attempting their first sweater.

In Knitting 101 we will learn the basics like the knit stitch, casting on and binding off. We don't have a project in mind (we like to call it a bookmark or coaster if you are really ambitious), but at the end of class, you will be sent home with our full "Learn to Knit Kit" that includes hours of instructional videos. Please note that this class is taught using the English method of knitting (yarn is held in the right hand).

Learn 3-D needle felting while making a cute Little Gnomie and mushroom! Using an array of beautiful wools and locks, you?ll learn to make a 3-dimensional sculpture of a gnome and a mushroom. Allison will teach you how to create the basic shapes needed using core wool, adding fine wool and locks for texture. Have fun combining colors and the qualities of good felting wool and use a variety of tools. Suitable for beginners and those with some needle felting experience. Kids 12 and up are welcome, if they are with an adult! This is a great social class for friends too! Class fee includes all materials.

Spring showers bring flowers! Shake off your winter blues and learn to needle felt a spring flower egg. Allison Harding will teach you how to choose the best materials and use the tools to needle felt a dimensional flower covered egg with a busy little bee, too! You?ll want to make more than one, so take home your felting tool to create a basket full!

Sock knitting is a great year-round project...and they make great gifts too! During this class we will learn the construction of socks by knitting a baby sock. You might not have a baby in your life, but it?s a great way to get used to working with small yarn and small needles and then you are ready to create socks that fit you! The tiny sock also makes an adorable ornament! You will need: 80 yards Fingering/Sock Weight yarn and US1.5 (US1 if you are a loose knitter or US2 if you are a very tight knitter) Double Pointed Needles. Please note this is a two-part class. Class includes pattern and has no homework before the first class.

Come learn the age-old technique of Viking knitting and walk away with your own finished charm bracelet. Viking knitting is done by looping wire around a dowel and then pulling the wire tube created through a draw plate to condense the tube down to the desired thinness. The finished piece resembles the look of knitting.
