Classes

- Classes & Private Lessons reservations must be made 24 hours before the class/lesson. This allows our teachers to prepare for the necessary number of students, or in the case of private lessons, if there are no private lessons 24 hours before the lesson time, the teacher won't need to come into the shop. There is no same day or drop in availability for classes or lessons.

- If you must cancel, and do so at least 48 hours in advance, your fees may be applied to a future class/private lesson.

- Cancellations fewer than 48 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund. PLEASE call if you cannot come, this allows us to fill your spot with someone else who has been waiting for the class/private lesson.

-Payment is required to secure your place in the class.

- Please read the class description COMPLETELY and note any homework or supplies you will need for the class

- By signing up for a class, you are agreeing to the terms & conditions listed above.

- For all classes that begin at the same time the shop opens (i.e. 10am class) the shop will open 30 minutes before the start of class time for you to get any materials you might need!

- For classes requiring material, we kindly ask that you purchase materials at A Little Knitty, recognizing that you may already have suitable needles and notions.

- If there is something you are interested in learning, please let us know! You can call us at 206.659.5987 or email us at hello@alittleknitty.com

Join us for a fun FRIDAY class!

Cost: $ 45.00
In Knitting 101 we will learn the basics like the knit stitch, casting on and binding off. We don't have a project in mind (we like to call it a bookmark or coaster if you are really ambitious), but at the end of class, you will be sent home with our full "Learn to Knit Kit" that includes hours of instructional videos. Please note that this class is taught using the English method of knitting (yarn is held in the right hand).

Cost: $ 65.00
This is the perfect class for graduates of our Knitting 101 course, or anyone who wants to learn to knit in the round.

Cost: $ 55.00
Are you tired of only knitting hats and cowls? Why not try a shawl?

Cost: $ 20.00
Are the kids home for Spring Break and need to get out of the house for a bit? We have a fun craft that will get their creativity flowing! Loom Knitting is the perfect introduction to playing with yarn and isn't as over-whelming as traditional "two stick knitting". In this class we will learn how to start a loom knit hat and students will go home with the loom, yarn patterns and video links. Loom hats make great gifts and great for charitable donations to foodbanks and homeless shelters. It's a great activity for engaging creativity, fine motor skills and it's really fun to wear something you made with your own hands.

Cost: $ 45.00
Adorn this beautiful bag with us on a special Friday Night Class!

Do you have one-sock syndrome? We have the cure!

Come learn the age-old technique of Viking knitting and walk away with your own finished charm bracelet. Viking knitting is done by looping wire around a dowel and then pulling the wire tube created through a draw plate to condense the tube down to the desired thinness. The finished piece resembles the look of knitting.

Cost: $ 60.00
